Hemp Hearts is a three-dimensional art piece made from hemp fabric, woven from the fibers of the cannabis plant. This work symbolizes the peculiar history of this single plant and the psychological struggles humanity has faced throughout its story.

The installation consists of eight 30 cm square acoustic panels, each covered with hemp fabric manipulated using traditional smocking techniques. These fabric-covered tiles, each featuring unique patterns, are arranged into a heart shape and can be attached or detached using magnets.

The insulation boards used for the acoustic panels also serve as sound-absorbing, noise-reducing, and humidity-regulating materials, subtly addressing the modern issue of noise pollution.

Dimensions: 130 x 113 x 5 cm
Materials: Hemp, insulation board, perforated plywood, recycled PVC high-density soundproofing sheet, cork, magnets
